NOTES:    Don't forget parents...Band Boosters meetings are year-round.  Even though school is not in session, we have a lot of business to take care of.  We welcome all parents to come participate!

NOTES:    Parents, you can get band competition scores online at www.saxdoctor.com .  They have their website updated each week to reflect the previous week competition scores.

NOTES:    Information on the upcoming TN Division II State Competition can be found on the Independence H.S. Website.  Their website is http://www.independencehigh.org/.  You can pre-order sweatshirts, t-shirts and other spectator packages here.  It's a great source for up-to-date information.

NOTES:    7th and 8th Graders - Please remember that if you are thinking about auditioning for high school marching band in they must be at ALL mandatory functions in order to be eligible.

April 2007

  ** - Admission charge of $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family.  Concert to be held in the DHS Gymnasium.

  NOTES:  Band Camp Scholarship applications are due no later than Friday, April 27th.  A limited number of partial and full scholarships are available.  Forms can be obtained from Mr. Graham.

May 2007

*- Band Camp Fees are $200.00 per student.  This includes the deposit for the room at the State Division II Contest that is held in November.  Please make checks payable to DHS Band Boosters.  Get money to Debbie Ford, Treasurer.

June 2007

NOTES:    Band camp fees are $200.00.  The breakdown on that is $170.00 for Band Camp and $30.00 for the room at the State Division II Competition.  Remember that 1/2 of the fees are due by Marching Camp in May.  If you will have difficulty paying your fees for band camp, please contact either Mr. or Mrs. Graham or Debbie Ford.  There are scholarships available, both partial and full.  Mail band camp fees to DHS Band Boosters; PO Box 1805: Dyersburg, TN 38025.

NOTES:    The Jim Godsey Symphony of Sound is just around the corner.  Parents, if you can spare a couple hours of time that day, we need all the help we can get.  There are opportunities in the Concession Stand, Sweet Shop, Band-O-Grams, parking, etc.  Just contact one of the Band Booster officers to find out where you can lend a hand!
